Getting To Know You

Happy Sunday evening y'all!

It's a little late, but I thought I would try something new and play along with Keely's Getting To Know You link up!

1. Have you ever gone to a movie by yourself?

No!!! I just don't think it would be any fun to go by myself.

2. Would you rather go through a tornado or a hurricane?

Well, normally if I had to pick which one to have I would pick a hurricane. Because with a hurricane, I can get out of town before it hits. But if I had to pick one to actually sit through, I would have to pick the tornado. I'm pretty sure that often times hurricanes produce several tornados. And a hurricane lasts much longer than a tornado. So tornado it is!

3. Have you made summer vacation plans?

Mostly just tentative plans. Our one year anniversary is coming up in July, and we have talked about taking a weekend trip somewhere but nothing has been decided. We do have season passes to the amusement park close to our house so we're definitely planning on that!

4. What's your favorite accessory?

I definitely have to say my engagement and wedding rings! They're really the only jewelry I wear besides a small pair of stud earrings :)

5. Have you ever been thrown a surprise party?

No...everyone who knows me knows I don't really like surprises!

6. Are you friends with your neighbors?

Well where I live now with my husband we're not really close with our neighbors. But where I lived with my parents before I got married we were really close with a lot of our neighbors. In fact, I am so close with two of my neighbors there that they were grandparents in my wedding!

7. What's the last movie you saw in theater?

I took my mom to see Soul Surfer for Mother's Day! It was really, really good! I think I may have to read the book.

8. What's your favorite Food Network show?

Well, I don't really watch The Food Network very often, but I do love Cake Boss on TLC! I love seeing all the beautiful cakes that they make on that show!

I hope everyone has an amazing start to their week tomorrow!

  1. What a cute post! I love the Cake Boss too! His bakery is in the city where I am moving and I really want to try a cupcake when I get there but I hear the line is always hours long!

Love your rings! They're gorgeous! :)

  8. Gorgeous rings girly! So pretty!

I live in Tornado Alley. I'm shocked that I don't just move. Those deadly things are no fun.

I think I would go to the movies by myself but it wouldn't be much fun and people may look at me weird if I start talking to myself....

    Have a great week!
