How I Decorated My Dining Room For Halloween!

Happy Tuesday y'all!

Since it is officially October, I thought I would show y'all how I decorated my dining room for Halloween!

Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year because the decorations are so fun :)

First I'll show you what I have on my tabletop!

Napkins: Target
Napkin rings: I used purple sparkly pipe cleaners and clip on spiders both from Michaels
Decorative picks (in napkins): Michaels
Plates: Target
Placemats: Pier 1 Imports
Table runner: Kirklands
Goblet glasses: Walmart (4 for $5!!)
Glitter balls in glasses: I used vase filler from Micahels
Candelabra: Kirklands
Purple candles: Michaels
Lighted feather wreath: Kirklands

I also decorated my china cabinet!

Mason jars from a DIY Modge Podge project.
Ghost and black cats from Hobby Lobby.
Autumn Leaves candle from Yankee Candle.

For the garland I bought 2 feather boas and tied them together.  Then I bought a lighted garland and laid it on top of the feather boas (both from Hobby Lobby).

I think the feathers in the garland, wreath, and decorative picks go together perfectly!

And finally, a wreath for the door!

This wreath is for sale in my Etsy shop!

And there you have my halloween decorations!

I hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday!

Fabulous Fall Blog Challenge Day 3

Happy Wednesday!

It's the third day in the Fabulous Fall Blog Challenge link up with Neely and Amber!

Fabulous Fall Blog Challenge

Day Three
What do you do for Halloween/A Halloween Memory

Since I don't have kids yet, Halloween at my house isn't really anything all that exciting!
I mostly enjoy the decorations and fun that come along with it.
Typically, I wake up and dress my furbabes up in their costumes and take their pictures.
Then Chris and I will have a "scary" movie marathon.
And when I say "scary" I mean like fun Halloween movies.
I scare too easily for the real thing!!

So since I don't do anything really cool, I thought I'd share with you what I did for Allie's first Halloween!

This is Allie in her pumpkin outfit!

She looks so worried because she saw me coming with the hat which she HATED!

She wasn't too happy with me after that!

I went around during the day and passed out different dog treats to a bunch of my neighbors.
And that night I took her trick or treating!

After we rang the doorbell!

Success :)

Back home with some of her treats!

And then she helped pass out candy to trick or treaters!!

What do you do for Halloween?
