Happy Tuesday y'all!
Wow.
It has been a long time since I blogged last.
Life has a funny way of getting in the way of things I love to do,
and replacing them with work.
Anyhow, I've seen a couple of people post about things they don't blog about (most recently Alana!),
and I thought I would share mine.
Things you won't find on my blog:
1. The Army
Most of you know that I'm in the Army Reserves.
And I like to keep that about the extent of it.
As long as I'm under contract, I'd prefer to not say anything that could come back to my commander or an NCO.
There's so much I could say that I could write a book.
But until my enlistment is done,
I don't feel good blogging about it.
2. Politics/Social/Societal Issues
Like everyone else, I have my own opinions about politics.
If you could even call it that.
More like, I have an opinion on certain issues.
But people argue and fight and at the end of the day, everyone leaves with the same opinion they had to begin with.
And because of that, I just don't think it's all that serious that I need to voice my opinion on every single thing that happens.
So one thing you should know is,
I don't vote.
Yea.
Cue: "If you don't vote, then you don't have any right to complain."
If I had a penny for every time I heard that one.
But you know what?
I don't.
Hence why you will NEVER see it on this blog.
It actually annoys me when people feel the need to make everything that comes out of their mouth a strong political opinion.
And I don't want to be that person.
Besides the fact that I don't really feel I know enough about the issues to argue over them or vote.
So you're welcome.
3. Family Issues
I've heard it time and time again.
Bloggers wishing that they would have kept their blog from people that they know in real life.
Especially family.
Let me jump in that boat.
And even with these few sentences, I'm having to hit the backspace so as not to say the wrong thing.
So all I will say is at the end of the day,
it's a lot easier for me to have a problem with family members
than to make it worse by having them find out that I blogged about them
and add to the issue.
The list is short, but those things comprise a big chunk of things that I try to "write around."
What don't you blog about?
