I've heard about some spa treatments lately that would completely send me running out the door.

So naturally, I wanted to get everyones opinion on these :)

Ok so I guess this one isn't so weird. I know that it's been done for years now.

I just don't think I could do it!

I don't really like the feeling of things crawling on me.

When I lived in Charleston, I went to the beach a lot.

When the tide would go out it would create these pools of water that I liked to lay in to cool off.

And I would lay there until I started feeling all these nibbles.

And looked down and saw all these little fish swimming around me.

I just couldn't take it!

Has anyone had this done?

What did you think?

I think I actually heard these were banned in New Hampshire..

I just died a little inside just posting the pictures!

I think it's safe to say that I hate snakes.

Anyway, I can't imagine laying there letting snakes crawl all over me.

This is the kind of stuff they put on all those challenge shows because typically it's not the kind of thing people are into!

I want to have a massage to relax.

And I would probably have a heart attack during this!

Would any of you be into trying this?

Note: As a massage therapist, I would NEVER perform this type of "massage!"!

Although it might be nice to have the snakes do all the work for me ;)

I just wanted to apologize to everyone for my slack responses to emails and lack of blog hopping for a few days.

I had Army Reserve duties this weekend and was super busy with that. My days ran from 0430-1600 hours.

That's 4:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for all you non-military time tellers ;)

I especially wanted to let you know what I've been so absent because I haven't gotten a chance to thank y'all for all your sweet and thoughtful comments on my post where I revealed my secret. It is a very good feeling to know that I have your support!!

I will be responding to every SINGLE one of your comments (providing that you have your email enabled)!

I will be making the 3 hour drive home today and hope to be getting back into the swing of things with the blog very soon!!

Friday Confessional

Happy Friday y'all!

I have a lot to confess this week.

I confess... that I've had a major obsession with French dressing for the past two weeks. Like eat it inappropriately on stuff it doesn't belong on obsession. Like have a salad for a snack at night so I can eat it kind of obsession. It's not that I hadn't tried it before. It's that Food Lion had dressing on sale, and I thought to myself, "I haven't had this in awhile. It looks good." So I bought it. And I went through it. And then I went back to get more while it was on sale.
I confess... that I may be eating French dressing before this post is over.

I confess... that while googling a picture of French dressing, I used the picture of the old Kraft French dressing bottle because I like it better than the new one.

I confess... that I'm one of THOSE people who doesn't smile at other people when they walk by. 

Hold up. Rewind. Let me explain myself.

It all happened like this:

my sister: You know what I hate?

me: What?

my sister: I really hate it when I pass someone, and I smile at them to be nice, and they don't smile back, and they look at me like I'm crazy.

me: You know what I hate?

my sister: What?

me: When I'm walking past someone who randomly gives me this awkward smile as I pass by!

my sister: So you're one of those people who doesn't smile or purposely avoid eye contact so they don't have to smile?!

Yep. That'd be me.

I confess... I really need to get over that introverted, social phobia that makes me avoid simple social situations like that.

I confess... that I have watched this commercial wayyy too many times for it to still be this funny to me!

I confess... this post was WAY too easy for me to write!

Here are my confessions for the week.

I confess... that if one more thing goes wrong in this house, I just might loose it. As of 2:00 a.m. this morning we don't have AC. In the summer. In SC.
I confess... that I have drank one too many Monster energy drinks this week to keep me going. I'm pretty sure they don't agree with my nerves.

I confess... that I've been really slack about my A Recipe A Week. I really need to get back on that.

I confess... that I will be killing my kitten if he doesn't decide to stop being so nocturnal. He has kept me awake all night for the past few nights. He looks so sweet and innocent sleeping all day.

I confess... that instead of getting up to face my day, after I finish writing this I may roll back over and go to sleep for a few.

By the way, thank you to everyone who left such sweet comments yesterday about baby Zeta. Her surgery went well, and she's now on the road to recovery :)

I always feel like, somebody's watchin' me!!

Not too long ago when visiting my hometown's local mall, I saw that they had recently added a fitness center where some stores used to be.

Doesn't sound like the oddest thing in the world right?

Until you see this.

Oh yes. Those are huge windows. Windows that everyone walking through the mall can see through.

Now, maybe it's just me, but I don't necessarily think I'd like to join a gym where everyone could lazily walk by and watch me struggling on the treadmill.

I found it extremely ironic that they have the words "judgement free zone" plastered above those huge, unforgiving windows from the inside of the fitness center. Ironic because as I'm sure you're aware, judgement is exactly what's going on from the other side of the window.
