Miscellany Monday

Happy Monday y'all!

I just finished up with finals last week and ended up will all A's for the semester!
I only have one week until summer classes start so I'm trying to soak up what little bit of a break I have left :)

I'm writing random today and linking up with lowercase letters for Miscellany Monday!

{beach day}

I went down to Charleston to spend a few days with my family, and I was lucky enough to get to go to the beach twice.

On Thursday my sister and I went.
Then on Friday my mom and I went and took the dogs.
This was Pinto Bean's first time at the beach and he loved it!
Although it was a big adventure for such a little puppy, and he was exhausted by the end of our trip :)

{the good dog}

On Saturday, my mom and I went around to a few yard sales where I picked up a copy of Nicolas Sparks' The Guardian (score!) for $1.

One of the houses was also selling hot dogs for lunch, and I really wanted one because they smelled so good.

A lot of you realize the problem with this since y'all know I'm a vegetarian.

Not to be concerned though.
I picked up a package of vegetarian "good dogs" from Walmart.
They were so good!

{"no thanks"}

Have you seen the Febreze commercials?
You know the ones where people in blindfolds are guided into a dirty room or car and asked what they smell?
It looks a little like this:

I just want to know in what universe would you let someone come up to you on the street, blindfold you, and led you somewhere?
(According to an article by the New York Times, that's how it's done.)

There are enough crazies in the world that if someone off the street asked me to be part of a "scent experiment" while holding a blindfold,
I'd have to go with "no thanks."
It would be my luck to end up all over the 5:00 news later that night if I agreed.

I hope everyone has a great start to their week!
