Friday Confessional

Happy Friday y'all!

These are my confessions this week.

Photobucket

I confess... that I was so tired yesterday morning from staying up all night studying, that I forgot to shampoo my hair in the shower!

I confess... that I didn't realize what I had done until after I had blow dried my hair and was in the middle of straightening my hair.

I confess... that I made the executive decision at that point to get back in the shower and wash my hair, even though at that point I had to rush.

I confess... that it was all worth it because I think I did well on my quiz!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I confess... that I hate worms. The way they crawl and squirm is wayyyyy too close to snakes for me.
I confess... that yesterday in my Zoology lab when I had to put 12 worms in pain by submerging them in a salty solution, I almost cried.
What sense does that make???
I just can't stand animal testing or the thought of any animal suffering.
Especially for something so silly as a science lab.
I confess... that I was relieved that all 12 of my worms survived this testing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I confess... that I am so excited for the weekend!

I confess... that I'm a little sad that this weekend is my last one for 2 weeks since I have battle assembly for the Army Reserves next weekend.
I'll be really ready for the weekend after that!

What are you confessing this week?

  2. I've done the hair thing too! I always get distracted and forget to shave a leg or arm pit and then realize it at the most random moment!

    Happy Friday!

  3. I'm not weirded out by worms but I always feel bad when they come out onto the sidewalks after a rain but then get all dried out. Ew. Happy Friday!

  4. That's so sad about the worms. :( Making anything suffer is awful. I don't understand it.

    I have done what Megan said before about forgetting to shave a leg. haha.

    Hope you enjoy the weekend! I'm so excited for it. I plan to have ALL of my fall decorating done this weekend!

  5. I have flat forgotten to wash my hair, but never gotten back in the shower to do it. I have gotten back in because I forgot to rinse out the conditioner though.

  6. I've done the hair thing before - get out of the shower, and suddenly think, "Whoa...did I even shampoo? Did I wash my face??" How DOES that happen?? haha!!

    Hope you have a great weekend! :)

  7. Great confessions, Rebecca! I give you so much credit for testing on those worms...It makes me feel terrible for them :( Even though they're worms, they still can feel.

    HAPPY FRIDAY!

  8. I have completely forgotten to shampoo my hair, but I don't think that I would have bothered re-showering.

    Hope you have a fabulous holiday weekend!

  11. I usually am in the process of drying or straightening my hair and I realize that I have shampoo STILL in my hair! UGH! I would probably have gone back too--I just can't stand my hair when it's greasy!

  12. Worms or any other slimy, creepy crawly thing grosses me out.

    Giggling at the hair because I've totally done that before :p

  13. Sorry you were so tired! I get like that all the time - though I will admit I've never forgot to shampoo my hair! :) Hurray for the worms surviving. I never liked doing that in science class either - I agree with you on the fact that there is just no sense in doing it!

  14. You are such a sweetheart, Rebecca! I love that you felt sorry for the worms. I would have been the same way. For some reason, it doesn't bother me when we use them as bait fishing, but if I were to lab test them, I'd worry I was hurting them, too. How's that for weird?
