Top 2 Things You collect

1. Bubba Gump's Glasses

Before we got married, my husband and I spent a wonderful day in downtown Charleston (we were still in a long distance relationship at this point!). We decided to eat at Bubba Gump's since we had never eaten there before. For those of you who don't know, Bubba Gump is a restaurant based off the movie Forrest Gump. Anyway, when we were looking at the menu we saw that if your ordered certain drinks they came in a souvenir cup with the logo and restaurant location on it. So we both ordered one and got cups with Charleston, SC on them. Then when we went on our honeymoon to Hawaii, we quickly found how much cheaper it was to eat outside the resort area. We saw that there was a Bubba Gump's not to far away from our resort so we went and got Honolulu, Hawaii cups! That was pretty much the start of us actually deciding to collect them. We're going to have to make quite a few trips to China if we want them all :)

2. Thimbles

I don't know if anyone collects these anymore or not, but I have a really hard time finding them anywhere when I go on vacations. My mom and I started collecting thimbles when I was really little on a trip to Niagara Falls in Canada. I think I have about 20 or so.

I wish I had a picture of my thimble collection, but if I was just honest with everyone, a lot of my things still haven't found a permanent place yet since I've gotten married :)

A few randoms I "collect"...

{straws}

I love drinking out of straws, and I really appreciate it when I can find a really good straw. I really like straws from McDonald's or Sonic because they're really sturdy. Whenever I go, I normally scoop up a few extra and stick them in my purse :)

I have one for just about every special occasion my husband and I have shared together. I even have the one from the weekend he proposed. He always wrote the date and occasion on all of them :)
